“Pop Culture”
The most important thing that I learned on this section, “Cultural Identity" is that everyone has different cultures, but not because of that someone is better than others. I leaned that when we come to this country, we may be felt that we are not on home or we are felt that we are not on home or we are strange on many culture that why is the country of "Salad bowl". Also I love the idea of how other cultures people participated in others culture event and how we mix our culture with other culture. After read this section I felt more comfortable.
“Cultural Identity” 
This first picture that I will like to explain you is the mariachi, because one thing that I love from my country is the music and the feeling that they make me feel when I hear them. Mariachis are musicians typical from Jalisco Mexico culture.
The Catholic Church is important place for my people and culture because; we group up believing on this religion, until you are not that spiritual person. Also the church is a cultural place.
Reading
One reading that opened my eyes and mind was Do I look like public Enemy number one? Before I read this article I never thought that people could be treat in a bad way just because the actions of others. How could people judge others with out knowing the person? Just because this person came from another country, is not right. That why this article taught me a good lesson, before to criticize others is best to know who this person is. Many people stereotype others nationalities because individual actions. However, people should not judge by the stereotype nor the way they look, but for their individual values and personality.

Music My favorite music change a lot when I came to America. Rock became my favorite music gender. Bon Jovi is one of my favorite music groups. They became my favorite group because I understood their lyrics before any other bands. Also, their lyrics have a lot of meanings and the rhyme. My favorite song is Diamond ring because my husband dedicate to me when he asked me to marry him. For this reason, this band brings me back so many good memories of my life.

Imagine living in another planet. Imagine people who live by the energy of Mother Nature, who respect the natural live. Do you imagine living without technology and those things that humans built. Do you imagine living in another planet that people love and are connected with the animals and plants; people who fell in love with Mother Nature.
The movie is about how the humans try to destroy another planet because they want to benefit of others and they don’t care if they destroy or hurt another race. The story takes place in Pandora, Jake Sully was send to Pandora to investigate about them and their secret, but hi fell in love to Neytiri and he start to felt them like a family so hi defend them when hi see that the human race try to destroy them and hi start a battle.
Technology
My laptop is essential for my life. My computer is part of me. Computers become to be a necessity for me. My computer helps me do anything I want to do. For example, it helps me to places, do my homework and investigate something. Everything I don’t know my computer knows. I can not live without my computer. I think technology is important to my life because it is really helpful.
Television
That 70s show is a TV show that has a big influence in my life. I learned how teenagers live in America. I learned many vocabulary words in English and terms that people uses daily. This show is fun and I relate to some of the characters. I enjoy this show because is entertaining and I learned English at the same time.
